In 2016 Ore extraction by X = 150 kg

A type ore extraction by X = 150 × [40 /100] = 60 kg

B type ore extraction by X = 150 – 60 = 90 kg

Ore extraction by Y = 90 kg

A type ore extraction by Y = 90 - 30 = 60 kg

B type ore extraction by Y = 30 kg

Calculation

Let B-type ore by Company X in 2015 = 13x
Then, in 2017 = 18x
From table: 2017 B-type = 90
So, 18x = 90

⇒ x=5

⇒ 2015 B-type = 13x = 65

Let 2015 A-type = y
Then, A-type in 2019 = y + 20% of y = 1.2y
From table: 2019 A-type = 180

⇒ 1.2y = 180

⇒ y= 150

Total ore by X in 2015 = A + B = 150 + 65 = 215

Total ore by Y in 2018 = A + B = 45 + 75 = 120

Ratio = 215/120=43:24
