In 2016 Ore extraction by X = 150 kg
A type ore extraction by X = 150 × [40 /100] = 60 kg
B type ore extraction by X = 150 – 60 = 90 kg
Ore extraction by Y = 90 kg
A type ore extraction by Y = 90 - 30 = 60 kg
B type ore extraction by Y = 30 kg

Average of A-type ore extracted by Company Y in 2016, 2017, 2018
= [60 + 75 + 45]/ 3 = 180/ 3 = 60
Company X's D-type ore in 2020 = 25% more than 60:
= 60 + 25% of 60
So, 60 + 15 = 75
Company Y's D-type ore in 2020 = [2/5] × A-type ore by Company X in 2017
= [2/5] × 90 = 36
Total D-type ore in 2020 (X + Y) = 75 + 36 = 111 kg
