एक रेखा का समीकरण जो x-अक्ष और y-अक्ष पर क्रमशः a और b अंतःखंडों को काटता है निम्न द्वारा दिया गया है

रेखा का समीकरण 8x - 6y + 3 = 0 है
⇒ 8x – 6y = -3
