The prescribed age limit for the candidates going to write the WBSSC Clerk exam is going to be 18 to 49 years. The upper age limit has been fixed for the unreserved category but the same is going to have relaxation as mentioned in the table below.

The candidate aspiring to join on the WBSSC Clerk job profile should have passed School Final/Madhyamik or its equivalent or Old H.S. in lieu of School Final/Madhyamik or its equivalent.
The candidate should be in a permanent domicile of the West Bengal state. These candidates will only be allowed to avail of the age relaxation as notified by the state government.
