Despite assurances from the JPSC Chairman to a delegation that results would be announced soon, candidates launched a hunger strike due to the lack of a specific timeline.
• The recruitment process, which began with the notification in January 2024, has been ongoing for over a year, with the prelims results declared on April 22 in the same year.
