The Indian Army has released the official notification for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES-54) for the January 2026 course. A total of 90 vacancies have been announced under the TES 54 Recruitment. Interested candidates can submit their online applications from 13th May to 12th June 2025. To be eligible, applicants must have completed their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects in the Science stream. A total of 90 Vacancies have been released for the Indian Army TES-54. Candidates interested in applying for this prestigious opportunity should apply online. The Vacancies are provisional and can be changed depending on the training capacity at the Cadets Training Wings for this course. The vacancies are subject to increase/decrease keeping the organizational requirement at that point of time

The TES 54 Application Form is available on the official website of the Indian Army from October onwards. The candidates can use the steps mentioned below to apply for the aforesaid post.
Candidates need to visit the official website at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and click on the ‘online application’ button to begin the application process.
Enter the required details in the online application form carefully. Make sure to read the terms and conditions linked to the form before submitting.
Candidates can edit the application details until the deadline. However, every time the form is edited, the application must be resubmitted. No changes can be made after the closing date.
Upon successful submission, a confirmation dialog box will appear. A Roll Number will be generated 30 minutes after the closing of the application. Candidates are required to print two copies of the application with the Roll Number.
One self-attested copy of the application, along with original documents like Class 10th and 12th certificates, ID proof, and JEE (Mains) result, must be brought to the SSB interview for verification.
Candidates must bring two self-attested photocopies of the required certificates and 20 passport-sized photos to the interview. Original documents will be verified and returned.
Only one application per candidate is allowed. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.

According to the selection process of Indian Army TES Entry 2025, there are three stages for shortlisting candidates. Only those candidates who qualify for all three rounds will be called for the final joining of the training process conducted by the army.
The first stage is the Shortlisting of the candidates is done by the integrated HQ of MoD. The list is prepared based on the marks scored by them in the class 12th (10+2) examination. As per the latest updates for TES 54, JEE Mains scores will be mandatory for the candidates willing to apply. The authorities fix cut-off marks and the candidates having equal to or more than that will be sent to the next stage of the selection process
The Indian Army SSB Interview is a rigorous process consisting of multiple stages to thoroughly evaluate candidates. The Screening stage assesses candidates' potential through Verbal and Non-Verbal tests along with PPDT. Following this, the Psychological Test evaluates mental attributes using tests like TAT, WAT, SRT, and SD. The GTO Round is physically demanding and includes tasks such as GD, GPE, PGT, HGT, IOT, Command Task, Snake race, Individual Lecturette, and FGT to gauge mental and physical stamina. The Personal Interview focuses on candidates' IQ, educational background, and general knowledge. Finally, the Conference round serves as a final assessment of suitability before the Medical Examination round, ensuring candidates are well-rounded for service in the Indian Army.
Stage 3 or the last round is the Medical Examination wherein the candidates will be checked if they are medically fit for the aforesaid role. During the medical examination, the candidates will be asked to stay in any of the military hospitals. The candidates who are declared unfit by the medical board team can challenge the same and reappear for the medical examination.
