The UPPSC APO Exam Pattern 2025 consists of both Preliminary and Mains examinations. The Preliminary exam is objective in nature, while the Mains exam involves descriptive questions. UPPSC APO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The UPPSC APO Prelims Exam 2025 will be an objective test featuring multiple-choice questions on law and general knowledge. The exam carries a total of 150 marks, with a penalty of 0.33 marks for each incorrect answer. The duration of the exam is 2 hours, and no marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.

UPPSC APO Mains Exam Pattern 2025
The UPPSC APO Mains Exam is entirely descriptive, focusing on questions from core law subjects. This written test includes detailed questions, with a total of 400 marks available. The exam is divided into several papers, each worth 100 marks. The negative marking scheme is the same as in the prelims. Candidates must score above the minimum qualifying marks to advance to the interview rounds. The final merit list is determined by combining the marks from the mains examination and the interview.
