Step 1: Visit the official website – www.opsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the Result tab on the home page.

OPSC ASO Result 2025: Document Verification

If you find your roll number is in the OPSC ASO Result 2025 pdf, it means you are selected for the next phase, i.e. document verification. You will then have to take the hard copy of the original documents and your online application form before the stipulated time to support your claims made during the online application. The commission will notify the date for verification later in due course. Failing to participate in this process will lead to permanent rejection from the recruitment.

How to Calculate Marks for OPSC ASO 2025?

Candidates must use the official answer key released by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) to evaluate their marks. Here are further details on the marking scheme of the OPSC ASO (Assistant Section Officer) 2025 as per the last recruitment pattern:

To calculate your marks for the written test:

Step 1: Open your OPSC ASO Answer key and match your answers to it.

Step 2: For every right answer in Paper I, Paper II & Paper III, you will be awarded 1 mark; for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Step 3: Calculate your cumulative score after matching your answers to the official answer key. This would be the score obtained by you in the exam. 

Step 4: The commission for the Skill Test released no answer key. With that being said, all the candidates shortlisted post the written examination will have to appear for the Skill Test compulsorily. For every right response, the candidate was awarded 10 marks; for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks were deducted. This stage is qualifying in nature, and one has to secure 40% of the total marks in the skill test to qualify as per the last recruitment notification.

How to Challenge the OPSC ASO Result 2025? 

There is no provision given by OPSC to challenge the actual result of the exam. However, the commission does provide candidates with the facility to challenge the tentative answer key. So, if any candidate wants to challenge the answer key, they must send their objection within 7 days of its release. Candidates can also contact the OPSC facilitation counter over the telephone & the website in case of any grievances regarding the recruitment.

OPSC ASO Merit List 2025

The OPSC generally releases one or more merit lists online on the official website. The first merit list is announced as per the corrections and suggestions of the provisional answer key. The OPSC ASO merit list contains the roll number of all the candidates selected for the next examination phase, i.e., the certificate verification round.
