The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will release the AMUEEE Eligibility Criteria for candidates appearing for the entrance exams. AMU conducts a national-level entrance exam known as Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination (AMUEEE). It offers admission to qualified candidates in Bachelor Of Technology, Bachelor of Architecture, and Bachelor of Engineering (UG) courses. Candidates must meet the AMUEEE Eligibility Criteria to appear for the exam. 

• The selection process of the AMUEEE Exam consists of one phase Entrance Examination. 
• The candidate who does not fulfill the AMUEEE Eligibility Criteria will be disqualified from the examination process.

Documents Required for AMUEEE 2023

Candidates are advised to keep the required documents ready before filling out the AMUEEE registration form to avoid the hassle.

• Marks sheet/ grade sheet of qualifying examination (with Four Self attested photocopies) 
• Transfer / Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (if not enrolled at AMU). If the Certificate(s) is/are not available, give an undertaking on the prescribed format to submit the same by the notified date. 
• High School Certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth. 
• Five (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing color photographs (in white background). 
• Documents in support of Special Categories claimed in Application Form (as given in Table III). 
• Leave Sanction / Relieving Order from the employer for the entire duration of the course, if employed. 
• Name Removal Certificate from the rolls of the concerned Faculty / College / Unit (if already enrolled in any full-time course of study at AMU). 
• Two Self-addressed envelopes bearing postage stamps worth Rs. 22.00 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence / NRSC allotted).
• Two Undertakings on plain paper – one on your behalf and the other on behalf of your parents/guardian regarding not indulging in ragging.
• Latest Certificate of vaccination for Typhoid, Cholera, and Hepatitis “B” – (applicable only for B.Sc. Nursing course) 

Documents Required by Overseas (Supernumerary) Candidates for AMUEEE 2023 

The foreign candidates will have to submit all the necessary documents during the time of upload as well as at the time of verification. 

• Self-attested photocopies of the statement of marks/ grades of the qualifying examination. In case, if Grade is awarded then the table for conversion of Grades into marks duly authenticated by the concerned Examination Board/University is also to be uploaded. 

Note: If a document/certificate is in a language other than English, a true translation of the complete document(s) in English, duly attested by the Indian Embassy /High Commission/ Consulate, should be uploaded with the Application Form. 

• Copy of relevant pages of the candidate’s valid passport (For Foreign Nationals only)
• Proof of Nationality duly attested by the Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate in Nepal (For Nationals of Nepal only). 
• Candidates under the NRI category are required to upload the following documents of his/her NRI Parents/ Sponsor along with the Application Form:
  • Relevant pages of the Passport showing Visa and latest exit and entry date
  • NRE Bank Account Number in India with copies of the relevant document(s) duly attested by the concerned bank. 
  • A certificate from the employer in the country of residence stating the employment position of NRI certified by the Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate, not issued prior to January 01, 2023. 

OR 

• If self-employed, carrying his/her own business then a certificate in that respect not issued prior to January 01, 2023, duly certified by the Indian High Commission/ Embassy /Consulate 
  • OR 
• NRI Certificate issued by the Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate, not issued prior to January 01, 2023. (Full name of the candidate’s NRI parent/Sponsor and relationship with the candidate must be mentioned in the above document.) 

Note: If the document mentioned at d(iii) above is not available at the time of applying, the same may be submitted at the time of admission and such candidates shall submit an undertaking to this effect.

• Candidates under the NRI category are required to upload the following additional documents, in case sponsored by Blood Relatives of the candidate): 
• Affidavit/Undertaking from the sponsor detailing/establishing a Relationship of NRI with the candidate duly notarized/certified by the Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate. 
• Affidavit/Undertaking from the sponsor that he/she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized/certified by the Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate.

AMUEEE Eligibility Criteria For Droppers

There are no different criteria for droppers in the AMUEEE Exam. They can appear in the AMUEEE exam if they fulfill the Eligibility Criteria mentioned above.
