AAU VET Exam Registration Process 2022 - Know about Application Form & Fee Details Here!

AAU (Assam Agricultural University) administers the AAU VET application 2022 (Veterinary Entrance Test) to candidates for admission to its various UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. On July 31, 2022, AAU VET 2022 application forms will be made available (tentatively). The AAU VET 2022 Merit list will be announced by the Assam Agricultural University based on how well candidates did on the qualifying exam.

• Candidates must have at least a 10+2 degree to be eligible to fill the AAU VET Application form. 
• The AAU VET 2022 test will be pen and paper only.

AAU VET Application Fee 

For the application process, the candidates must pay a specified amount of fee. The following applies to each course's application cost.

Note: Once the fee is submitted, it will not be refundable under any circumstances.

How to Apply for the AAU VET Application Process?

On July 31, 2022, the application form will be made available on the AAU website. It is usually advisable for interested and qualified individuals to submit their fully completed application forms before the deadline.

Following are the instructions for completing and submitting the AAU VET 2022 Application Form:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Assam Agricultural University.

Step 2: Register by entering your name, date of birth, email ID and phone number. The login ID will be sent to candidates via email.

Step 3: Login by using your user ID and Password.

Step 4: Fill AAU VET 2022 Application Form online.

Step 5: Enter your personal and educational qualification details in the application form.

Step 6: Upload scanned passport size photograph (3cm X 4cm) in jpeg format along with scanned signature (3cm X 1cm) in jpeg format.

Step 7: Upload your educational certificates and certificate of residence of Assam.

Step 8: Verify if all the details furnished in the application form are accurate.

Step 9: Submit the application form.

Step 10: Pay the application fee of INR 1100 through an online payment gateway.

Step 11: Acknowledgment of successful online registration will be sent to candidates via email or SMS.

Candidates should be aware that once they have submitted their application form and paid the application cost, they cannot make any changes to it. The AAU VET 2022 application fee is not transferable.

AAU VET Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should confirm that they are eligible to take the test. Candidates should carefully review the examination's qualifying requirements and take into account their qualifications. The following lists the requirements for taking the exams.

Age

UG Programme

The candidates for the UG programme are subject to the following age restrictions.

• Candidates who want to enrol in undergraduate programmes other than BVSc and AH must be at least 16 years old as of September 1, 2022.
• Candidates for the BVSc and AH programmes must be between the ages of 17 and 25 on or before December 31, 2022.
• For candidates who are SC, ST, or OBC, there is a 5-year relaxation.

PG and PhD Programme

There is no stated upper age limit. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must meet all other requirements.

Educational Qualification

UG Programme

• The performance at the Common Entrance Test 2022, which will be administered centrally by AAU, will be used to select candidates for admission into all Undergraduate degree programmes of the University.
• Students who have completed their 10+2 in the scientific stream and have a certificate proving their permanent residency in Assam should only apply (for HFC seats). 
• The students who take the qualifying exam are also entitled to take the Common Entrance Examination in 2022, however they must pass the 10+2 exam prior to the admission date. 
• The Entrance Test, 2022 is also open to the dependents of military and paramilitary personnel stationed in Assam for at least one year.

PG Programme

• The candidates will be chosen for admission into master's degree programmes based on their NTA score (2022-23) from the ICAR's AIEEA (PG) taken during the academic year 2022–2023. 
• For each of the Faculties separately, a Common Merit List based on the NTA score must be created. 
• If both students received the same NTA score, the tie will be broken based on the students' final CGPA from their UG degree programme.

PhD Programme

• The candidates who applied to the ICAR's AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) programme for the academic year 2022–2023 will be chosen for admission to Ph.D. degree programmes based on their NTA score (2022-23). 
• For all of the University's faculties, department-specific merit lists based on NTA scores will be created.

Important Documents Required to Fill the AAU VET Application Form 2022

When submitting an application for the AAU VET 2022 entrance exam, the following documentation is required: a mark sheet and a certificate from the 10+2 Board.

• The candidate's residency certificate must attest to the fact that the candidate is an Assamese citizen.
• Certificate of Category (if applicable).
• a photo the size of a passport.
• Details of Fee Payment.
• Signature of the candidate.
