The given figure 1, 5 and 7 have two diagonal lines intersecting each other and one shape inside the bigger figure. So they form a group.

Figure 2, 6 and 9 have two diagonal and one vertical line intersecting each other with a smaller shape inside the figure. So they form a group.

Figure 3, 4 and 8 have one vertical and one horizontal line intersecting each other with a shape inside the figure so they form a group.

Thus the set that forms groups are (1, 5, 7), (2, 6, 9), (4, 3, 8).
