The pattern followed here is:

Logic: No two opposite faces are adjacent to each other.

Let's find which number is faced opposite to face having '3'.

We are taking both dice figures (1) & (2) together.

Here, 5 and 2 are common in both dice and 6 is opposite to 1.

Now, we are taking dice figures (2) & (3) together.

Here, 1 and 2 are common in both dice and 5 is opposite to 4.

Opposite pairs:

6 ⇔ 1

⇔ 4

3 ⇔ 2

Clearly, 2 faces opposite of 3.
