Given

Student A got 25 marks more than Student B.

Marks of A = 60% of the sum of A and B's marks.

Concept: We'll use the given conditions to set up equations and solve them.

Solution:

Let marks of B = x. Then, marks of A = x + 25.

From the second condition, x + 25 = 0.6 ×  (x + x + 25) ⇒ x + 25 = 0.6 ×  (2x + 25)

Solving the equation, we get x = 50. Therefore, marks of B = 50.

Marks of A = 50 + 25 = 75.

Therefore, the marks obtained by A and B are 75 and 50 respectively.
