थेवेनिन का प्रमेय:
कोई भी दो टर्मिनल वाले द्विपक्षीय रैखिक DC परिपथ को एक वोल्टेज स्रोत और एक श्रृंखला प्रतिरोधक वाले एक समकक्ष परिपथ द्वारा प्रतिस्थापित किया जा सकता है।
अलग स्रोतों वाली समस्याओं को हल करने के लिए:
Voc ज्ञात करने के लिए: भार टर्मिनल पर खुले-परिपथ के वोल्टेज की गणना कीजिए। इस खुले-परिपथ वाले वोल्टेज को थेवेनिन का वोल्टेज (Vth) कहा जाता है।
Rth ज्ञात करने के लिए:
थेवेनिन के प्रतिरोध की गणना करने के लिए हमें सभी स्वतंत्र धारा स्रोतों को खुले परिपथ से और स्वतंत्र वोल्टेज स्रोतों को लघु परिपथ से प्रतिस्थापित करना चाहिए।
उपयोग:
माना थेवेनिन वोल्टेज प्राप्त करने के लिए दिए गए परिपथ और खुले परिपथ का भार 2 Ω है।
