Define e-waste.

Electronic waste (e-waste) refers to the disposal of broken or obsolete electronic components and materials.

• E-waste
• It is a popular, informal name for electronic products that are nearing the end of their "useful life".
• It includes discarded computer monitors, motherboards, mobile phones and chargers, compact discs, headphones, television sets, air conditioners, and refrigerators. 
• E-waste material can be valuable and reusable, as can random access memory and reusable laptops.
• However, materials, such as cathode ray tube monitors, require special handling at disposal.

• Hazardous waste
  • It is waste with properties such as physical, chemical, biological, reactive, toxic, flammable, explosive, or corrosive, causes danger or is likely to cause danger to health or environment whether alone or in contact with other wastes or substances.
  • Examples of hazardous wastes are
    • Paints and solvents.
    • Automotive wastes (used motor oil, antifreeze, etc.)
    • Pesticides (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc.)
    • Mercury-containing wastes (thermometers, switches, fluorescent lighting, etc.)
• Plastic waste
  • It is the accumulation of plastic objects (e.g.: plastic bottles and much more) in the Earth's environment that adversely affects wildlife, wildlife habitat, and humans. 
  • It can be primary plastics, such as cigarette butts and bottle caps, or secondary plastics.
