Total work = man × efficiency
Calculation
Tank filled without leakage = 1/30
Tank filled with leakage = 1/50
Pipe empty the completely filled tank in one hour = 1/30 – 1/50
= (5 - 3)/150
= 1/75
75 hours is the time taken to empty the completely filled tank.
