A spine-chilling video from Uttarakhand has gone viral, capturing the terrifying moment where a massive King Cobra silently entered a village home and slithered directly over a sleeping man. The man, though, remained as it is throughout the incident, as the world’s longest venomous snake explored his bed before going into a corner of the room.
The footage, which has gathered widespread attention and disbelief online, shows the giant serpent gracefully gliding through an open doorway, slithering across the floor, and then slowly ascending onto the bed where the man was peacefully asleep. The cobra’s peaceful movement and the man’s unbelievable calm create a scene of breathtaking tension, culminating in the snake passing completely over him without incident.
Social media users reacted with a mixture of terror, amazement, and humour to the weird encounter. Comments poured in, reflecting the collective shock: “Geez.
