Between India-Pakistan Tensions, A video is going viral on the internet featuring a billboard of Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir and Pakistan’s Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, which says, “Dushman ka ghurur aur jahaz hum minto mein giraty hain.”, which translates to “When it comes to Enemies’ Pride and Aircraft, we (Pakistan) take them down in minutes.”
After the video went viral on the internet, users are taking a dig at Pakistan, saying they are going through an economic crisis, they are taking a loan of $1 billion, and are still engaging in self PR activities.
The video has been shared by Zeshmohmand, a user from Pakistan, on the 19th of May on his Twitter account with the caption “Billboards of General Asim Munir and The Air Chief are Everywhere, You will see pictures of the army chief everywhere throughout Pakistan” with a fiery Emoji.

Netizens’s Reaction
People had Interesting reactions, some users taunted Pakistan for using the Loan’s money for promoting themselves, saying- “IMF gave them money for this propaganda”, “They are spending multi millions to promote themselves!”, “IMF ka pese use ho rahe hai”
Some also said that they are promoting some kind of propaganda like “The armed forces in Pakistan have set such a narrative that you can never make a change in it”, “Brainwashing their public that army is their protector and never question the army”, “Actually, for us this is just a banner, but for Pakistanis, it’s like a medicine — one their army has been feeding them for the last 80 years.”
Not just Indians, there were also some Pakistanis who spoke against this and called it an advertisement for their Army, “Which army advertises itself like this? This is their job; they take a budget of trillions of rupees every year, which is a war every day. After many years, there was a small pre-planned battle in which two or four planes were shot down, so this is their job. If a doctor performs a successful surgery, should he also put up billboards? If this nation continues to be influenced by these things, it will surely be ruined. May Allah take Pakistan to a safe place.”
Some also said-“Banners and boards are not needed to make people famous and rule the hearts of people. These shameless people are destroying the money of this country. They are not ashamed of wasting the money of the poor.”
Though the ceasefire has been announced, the tension still lingers in the air, be it with trade or boycotting Pakistan-related countries, India is not stepping back. And all this just proves how Pakistan wants to build a narrative on how they won over India.
