Husband Li was accused of abuse and domestic violence, which led his wife, Chen, to file for divorce case against him. Initially, the court dismissed Chen and Li’s divorce case, stating there was still hope for their relationship because of their “deep emotional bond.” However, the wife brought the case back to court and demanded for a separation.

Man Tried To Escape From Courtroom To Stop Divorce

When the couple entered the courtroom again, Li planned to escape. He lifted Chen off the floor and tried to run out of the building with his wife on his back. Chen was reportedly heard screaming loudly during the incident.

Li Issues Apology And Promises Change After Courtroom Incident

Noticing the situation, officials intervened. Li was asked to write an apology letter for his actions and to promise that he wouldn’t repeat such behavior in the future. He was quoted in the news saying, “I now realize how serious my mistake was and its negative impact. I guarantee that I will never make this mistake again.”
