Incredible IPL Season
Virat Kohli has been having an incredible season in the IPL 2025. He is among the top contenders for the Orange cap, an acknowledgement that is given to the highest run scorer of the tournament. Sai Sudarshan of the Gujarat Titans is the current cap holder with 759 runs. Virat Kohli is at the 5th spot with 614 runs, but with just one match remaining for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to play in its IPL 2025 campaign, it seems that the title for the highest run scorer might slip from his hands. His contribution to his team seems like a lone war, as none of the other batters from his team have made it to even the top 20 of the list of the highest run-getters in the tournament.
RO-KO Will Be Missed
Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket earlier this month. He will now be playing the One-Day Internationals for the country. He has also called it quits from the shortest format of the game after winning the T20 World Cup last year alongside his long-term compatriot and Former Indian captain, Rohit Sharma. Both the batting maestros have shown that they have a lot of cricket still left in them. RO-KO will be missed in whites, but it is time for the young lads to take over.
