The club of Sporting Lisbon made their move to acquire him in 2019 after acknowledging his significant potential. Chelsea Secure £40M Deal For Quenda
Chelsea finalised a £40 million transfer for Quenda yet he will stay at Sporting Lisbon through 2026 until he signs a seven-year contract with an optional additional year. Manchester United faced surprise when Chelsea acquired Quenda because Sporting Lisbon head coach Ruben Amorim who had mentored the player planned to bring him to the Premier League club. As a left-footed winger Quenda presents a composed offensive game while providing defence and uses his quickness in one-on-one situations. Quenda receives commendation at Sporting’s Academia de Alcochete because he displays excellence in football intelligence together with outstanding character. Portugal manager Roberto Martinez recognised the distinctive technical mastery that surpasses Quenda’s age group and Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva predicted that Quenda might replace him in his position. His teenage years arrived at a time when he was nowhere near the first team lineup of Benfica’s youth side. AC Milan’s Rafael Leão warned that everyone should learn to remember this name. Estevão Willian joined Chelsea from Academia de Alcochete alongside his 2007 birth demographic which may establish Chelsea’s forward position for the future.
