Patna: At least seven people were killed and several others sustained injuries after a shocking incident unfolded in Patna on Sunday night. Tragedy struck after a truck crashed into a tempo on Noora Bridge in Patna’s Masaurhi late at night, the Masaurhi Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) said. According to the Masaurhi SDPO, “Seven people died after a truck collided with a tempo on Noora Bridge in Patna’s Masaurhi on Sunday night.”
He further stated, “The injured were admitted to a hospital. Both the truck and tempo fell off the bridge.” Residents rushed to the site immediately after the severe collision and alerted the police. A rescue operation was carried out and efforts were underway to identify all those who survived the accident.
Four Killed In Car-Truck collision In Haryana
In another shocking incident on Saturday, at least four youth lost their lives after a car collided with a truck near Bitna Road on Haryana’s Panchkula Shimla Highway. A total of 7 people were inside both the vehicles. According to reports, two people who got stuck in the car were later pulled out. Pinjore PS Investigating Officer Yadvinder informed that they were en route from Panchkula, Shimla. Due to a sudden tyre burst, the car crashed into the truck parked on the side of the road after losing balance.
