In a massive showdown in the Bihar assembly, chief minister Nitish Kumar claimed that it was he who made Tejashwi Yadav’s father (Lalu Prasad Yadav) what he became. “What was there in Bihar earlier? It was me who made your (Tejashwi Yadav) father what he became. Even the people from your caste were asking me why I was doing this, but I still supported him,” the chief minister said.

Earlier, Tejashwi took a potshot at Nitish Kumar for targeting the RJD government before 2005. He said, ” the world was created after 2005.”
“Frustrated, disappointed, tired Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ji no longer has anything new to say, just as he no longer has anything new to do! They just keep singing the same old tune! Nitish Kumar and BJP remaining in the government means Bihar remaining in the past!,” Tejashwi Yadav wrote on X.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “Today Tejashwi Yadav was praising his father, Lalu Yadav… All the big leaders of the BJP are not from dynasty politics… BJP has always stayed away from dynasty politics… This person is anti-Sanatan. Tejashwi Yadav has gone away from the values and culture of Sanatan.”
