Raid 2 and The Bhootnii released in theatres on May 1, marking the start of Bollywood releases of this months. The movies have clashed in theatres but there is a huge difference in their box office performances. Ajay Devgn-starrer Raid 2 is a political drama, whereas, Sanjay Dutt-starrer The Bhootnii is a horror comedy.
Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 2:
According to the website Sacnilk, Raid 2 collected Rs 11.75 crore on day 2. Even though the numbers are impressive, the movie significantly decline from its opening day as it earned Rs 19.25 crore. Its total earnning now stands at Rs 31 crore.
The Bhootnii Box Office Collection Day 2:
Meanwhile, The Bhootnii is struggling to a start in theatres as it only earned Rs 0.62 crore on day 2. The movie collected Rs 0.65 crore on day 1 and has earned Rs 1.27 crore in total.
About Raid 2:
Raid 2 stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak and Amit Sial. The first part starred Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. Set in the 1980s, ‘Raid’ was based on a real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department under the Indian Revenue Service office in the 1980s.
Raid 2 follows the similar storyline as its first part. In the sequel, Amay Patnaik goes against another corrupt politician as he raids his house but finds nothings. The plot focuses on how Amay will face the new challenges amid the corruption and difficulties around him.

The Bhootnii stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy and Palak Tiwari in the lead roles. It is written and directed by Sidhaant Sachdev. The movie focuses on Baba, who is a veteran para-physicist and fights against an entity but its unlike anything he’s faced before.
