Raid 2 Teaser: Ajay Devgn, who impressed everyone with his performance as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in Raid, is all set to return with ‘Raid 2’. The movie will also introduce new cast, Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor. The makers have unveiled the teaser of Raid 2 in which Ajay and Riteish can be seen going against each other.

The movie also stars Saurabh Shukla, who will reprise his role of Rameshwar Singh and is seen in jail in the teaser. Rajat Kapoor, Surpriya Pathak, Amil Sial and Yashpal Sharma are the new additions to the cast.

‘Raid 2’ will release in theatres on May 1, 2025. The first part starred Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. Set in the 1980s, ‘Raid’ was based on a real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the Income Tax Department under the Indian Revenue Service office in the 1980s.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be seen in ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ with Rakul Preet. Ajay will also return as a director and will work with Akshay Kumar. Earlier, while speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024, he announced a new movie with Akshay Kumar and said, “This is something we were going to announce later but I think this is a great platform. We are already working on something together where I am directing the film and he is in the film.”
The two recently worked in ‘Singham Again’ with Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Ajay Devgn has also started shooting for ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ with Mrunal Thakur.
