BTS is all set to give a special gift to its fans around the world. The band will soon release its new documentary ‘Forever We Are Young’, which is dedicated to the dedicated and influential ARMY who have stood by BTS since their inception.
Directed by Grace Lee and Patty Ahn, the documentary will be released worldwide in cinemas on July 30 viaTrafalgar Releasing, with ticket bookings starting July 2 on btsarmymovie.com.
While the previous documentaries showcased the lives and journeys of the seven members of the band members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook, Forever We Are Young focuses on the ARMY community, their creativity and their activism. The film will reveal the stories of fans from Seoul to Mexico City, Louisville to Los Angeles who keep the global movement of BTS alive through dance covers, fan events, social campaigns and emotional stories.

The documentary had its world premiere at SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas, where it received an overwhelming response with a standing ovation and a full house. The film was subsequently screened in cities like Los Angeles, Mexico City and Copenhagen, where its emotional grip touched the hearts of audiences.
This emotional journey is produced by Grace Lee, Patty Ahn, Eurie Chung and Nora Chute, while its executive producers include Oscar winners Morgan Neville, James Shin and Caitrin Rogers.
As per Billboard reports, directors Grace Lee and Patty Ahn stated in a joint statement, “There is no BTS without ARMY and no ARMY without BTS. We are excited for audiences to go on an emotional journey and meet a fandom that made us laugh, cry and think.”
