The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the application process for Supplementary Examination 2025 for private students of class 10 and 12. This process can be done from 30 May to 17 June 2025 through online mode only on cbse.gov.in.
Who Can Apply?
Private students who have appeared for CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 board examination in the year 2025 and got exchange will be also eligible to register.
Private candidates will also be allowed to apply if the candidates who passed but wanted to improve their marks in any subject
Regular students with compartment means they have to apply through their school. Not apply individually.
Examinations Schedule And Instructions
Supplementary exams for Class 10 and Class 12 will take place beginning July 15, 2025.
A detailed exam schedule will soon be made available on the CBSE website. The public is advised to visit this site regularly.
Class 10 candidates can take supplementary exams for up to 2 subjects; Class 12 candidates can only apply for improvement in 1 subject.

Go to the section ‘Private Candidate Supplementary Examination 2025’
Complete the application form with correct personal and educational details.
Select the subject(s) you are applying for a supplementary exam.
Upload the necessary documents and a recent passport-sized photo.
You can make payment through one of the online payment options.
You should download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
Candidates should check all details prior to submitting, and carefully check the subject(s) chosen. Once the application has been submitted, subject choices cannot be changed.
The CBSE supplementary exam admit card is expected to be released in the first week of July 2025. Candidates must check the official CBSE website regularly for updates and information, including the release of the exam schedule and admit card.
