State Bank of India (SBI) has begun the online registration process for Probationary Officers (PO) recruitment, along with other things, for 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for SBI PO recruitment 2025 through the link provided at sbi.co.in. The last date to fill out the application is 14 July.
In 2025, the SBI PO recruitment has 541 vacancies, which include 500 regular vacancies and 41 backlog vacancies.
Most Important Dates In SBI PO 2025
The call letters for the preliminary examination will be issued in Week 3 or Week 4 of July 2025. The prelims examination will be held in July/August and the result will be declared in August/September.
The call letters for the main examination will be issued in August/September and will be held in September. The SBI PO main result will be declared in September or October.
The Psychometric Test, Interview & Group Exercises will take place in October/November. SBI PO 2025 final result date in November or December.
SBI PO 2025 Eligibility Criteria, Application Fee
The applicant must be not less than 21 years and not above 30 years as on April 1 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to the reserved category as per the relaxation rules mentioned in the notification.
The candidate must have graduated in any discipline from a recognised university or any qualification recognised as equivalent by the central government. Those applicants who are in the last year/ semester can also apply for SBI PO 2025. However, if they are invited for the interview round, they must provide proof of passing the graduation examination no later than September 30.
The candidates who are in a dual degree programme must also provide proof of passing the final exam no later than September 30.
Those candidates who have Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and etc qualification are also eligible too.
The application fee for SBI PO is ₹750/- for Unreserved /EWS /OBC candidates and there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Candidates who have defaulted in repayment under any arrangement with banks/NBFCs/financial institutions, including credit card dues and have not regularized/repaid their dues till the date of issue of the offer letter will not be eligible for appointment.
And candidates who have regularized/repaid their dues on or before the date of issue of the offer of appointment, whose CIBIL status has not been updated with the CIBIL (Equifax status) on or before the date of joining and they either had the CIBIL status updated or produced NOCs from their lenders. The candidates have to be advised to check/confirm CIBIL score/status before applying.
