New Delhi: A man in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar allegedly attacked his wife and son with an axe in sleep. After which, he drank poision to end his life and informed his family about the incident.
However, accused husband Jaspal Singh was immediately rushed to the hospital when his pulses were running but he was in critical condition. On Monday, the man also died.
As per the news, the man was so angry and frustrated that he attacked his son with the axe for 11 times and wife for 3 times. The man consumed poisonous pesticide after killing his son and wife. After getting his post-mortem done, the body was handed over to the family members.
Jaspal Singh (36) of village Char NN killed his wife Rupindra Kaur (32) and son Harpreet Singh (13) with an axe while sleeping late on Saturday night. After this, he went to the perennial canal area of Chunawarh police station area and swallowed the pesticide. Due to this he fainted.
Earlier, he had informed some of his acquaintances over the phone about killing his wife and son. On this the family members informed the Padampur police. Police kept the dead bodies of wife and son in the mortuary of the government hospital for postmortem.
In search of the accused husband, the police reached near the perennial canal, but till then the villagers took him to the government hospital in Sriganganagar through an ambulance. Later, seeing the serious condition of the accused, the police deployed a policeman near him.
Police depends on two daughters, relatives
The police is inquiring two daughters to find out the cause behind the act. They will also inquire the family members. During this, the call details of the accused will also be scrutinised.
