Planning to buy a new hatchback under Rs 10 Lakh? Although you should most definitely proceed if you need a new vehicle for your immediate needs. But if you can delay your decision by a few months, you might be able to choose from a slew of newly launched vehicles. Here is a list of all the new facelifts and hatchbacks that would make it to the market soon.
Suzuki Fronx Hybrid

Maruti Suzuki had earlier in the year announced that they would be working on a slew of new vehicles that would be targeted at Indian consumers. These new vehicles would be launched with a range of powertrain options to ensure affordability and easy mobility. They had detailed how these new launches would be equipped with mild Hybrid, CNG and Flex Fuel Technology. While the brand has kept the details of the new launch close to their chest they are planning to bring in a Hybrid version of the Fronx. So if you have been planning to go for the CNG version of the Baleno, Fronx or Swift, it would be wise to wait a little while if a immediate need is not apparent as a Hybrid version of the Suzuki Fronx would be launched soon.
Hyundai Bayon
Recently Hyundai has announced a slew of new launches that would soon be unveiled in the market. A primary vehicle in the list of new launches would be a Compact Crossover Hybrid Model. The new vehicle would be powered by an all new 1.2 litre Kappa engine that has been internally codenamed the BC4i globally known as the Bayon. The New 1.2 Litre TGDI engine would become a foundation of Hyundai’s Hybrid Portfolio in India. The New 1.2 Litre Engine would be able to bridge the gap between the existing 1.0-litre engine as well as the 1.5- litre Turbo Petrol Engine.

Suzuki Escudo
Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch an all new 5 seater SUV that would allegedly be called the Escudo. The car would be placed between the current Gen Vitara Brezza as well as the Grand Vitara. The new vehicle would compete against the likes of Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. The new 5 seater version of the SUV would be targeted towards buyers who seek a more luxurious SUV than the Vitrara Brezza but for slightly lower prices than that of the Grand Vitara. Its possible that the new SUV might be powered by the Existing 1.5 cc, four cylinder engine with Hybrid additions.

Renault Kwid
Renault India has been planning to emerge from their current state of stupor and revamp their lineup in recently. The brand has been selling the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger until now, but soon it seems that the brand will be incorporating a new Duster and a EV hatchback that has been seen testing a few times.
The spotted vehicle is being dubbed as the new Kwid EV, which has been spotted testing ever since 2024. Last time we saw a Kwid EV being tested, it was on the back of a flat bed, but this time around a new spotting that has been reported by Rushlane witnessed the vehicle rolling out. The vehicle was spotted somewhere in Tamil Nadu going by the temporary number plates that was on the vehicle, Nissan and Renault operate from Tamil Nadu. The Renault Kwid looks similar to that of the Dacia Spring EV that is on sale in the global markets.
